It has ten chapters: an outline of the mine and mine field geology; boundary and reserves; productive capacity, service life and working system of mine; development engineering of coalfield; the layout of mining area; the method used in coal mining; transportation of underground; mine lifting; mine ventilation and safety; the economic and technologic index of the mine.The Jiahe mine field lies in the Xuzhou city of Jiangsu province, the total area of the mine is 13.3 km2. It’s about 4.1 km on the strike and 3.2 km on the dip. There is two minable coal seam: No.7 and No.9, and the average thickness of the seam is 3.3 m and 3.1 m. They are stable and fluty inclined. The dip angle is from 5 degree to 29 degree, and is 17 degree on average. The normal flow of the mine is 120m3/h, and the maximum mine flow is 230 m3/h. The absolute gas emission rate of mine is 10.02 m3/min which belongs to low gas mine. The seams don’t have self-combustion tendency, and the coal dust has explosion hazard.The productive capacity of Jiahe mine is 1.5 million tons per year, and it’s service life is 61.8 years. The development of the mine is vertical shaft development with two mining levels and the extension of blind inclined shaft. The designed development level should be located at the level of -550 m and -850 m.Designed first mining district makes use of the method of the concentrated rise. The length of working face is 230 m, which uses fully-mechanized longwall mining method. The working system is “foure-six” which produces 330 d/a.Main roadway makes use of belt conveyor to transport coal resource, and the assistant transport use mine car.
