Huanyuan is located in Jinxiang of Shandong province. It is very convenient to get to the mine in terms of both highway and railway. The maximum length of the coalfield is5.454 km,and the minimum length of the coalfield is 3.868 km , The maximum width of the coalfield is 3.252 km,and the minimum length of the coalfield is 1.905 km,and the total area is 13.97 km2.The fifteen are the main coal seams, and its dip angle is 6~18 degree. The thickness of the mine is about 3.43m in all. The geologic structure of this coalfield is simple.The recoverable reserves of the coalfield are 172.53 million tons,and the minable reserves are 114.5 million tons. The designed productive capacity is 1.8 million tons percent year, and the service life of the mine is 49 years. The normal flow of the mine is 86m3 per hour and the max flow of the mine is 99.7 m3 per hour. The relative mine gas gush is 1.732 m3/t and the absolute gush is 6.866 m3/min, so it is a low gas mine. The mine is a double levels to develop. The central laneway uses Belt Conveyor to transit coal, and trolley wagons are used for accessorial transportation in the roadway . The prophase ventilation mode of this mine is center juxtapose form, and the late ventilation mode of this mine is diagonal form. The “three-eight” working system is used in the Tunliu mine. It produces for 330 days a year.The deneral design includes ten chapters: 1.An outline of the mine field geology; 2.Boundary and the reserves of mine; 3.The service life and working system of mine; 4.development engineering of coalfield; 5.The layout of panels; 6. The method used in coal mining; 7. Underground transportation of the mine; 8.The lifting of the mine; 9. The ventilation and the safety operation of the mine; 10.The basic economic and technical norms of the designed mine.The topic of special subject part is cross mining drift wallrock deformation regularity and supporting technical analysis, the paper analyzes the across adopt drift wallrock deformation and the factors affecting the deformation regularity, and from across the roadway deformation caused by mining, analyses the factors in recent years in the cross of roadway supporting theory and technology, from engineering example analyzed the grunting reinforcement to cross mining roadway effect.Translation part is aboat Lmprovement of Mining Safety and the Reliabilities of Mining Machineries.The English title is “Some of Our Efforts on the Lmprovement of Mining Safety
