Jining mine lines in Southwest of Jining in ShanDong province. The traffic of road and railway to the mine is very convenience. The geological structure of this area is simple. It is about 8 km in the run from the north to the south of the minefield, and It is about 8 km in the run from the east to the west of the minefield. The area is 60km2.The third and the sixteen seam is the main coal seam, and its dip angle is 4 degree. The thickness of the mine is about 10.21m in all. The proved reserves of the minefield are 919.54 million tons. The recoverable reserves are 660.20 million tons. The designed productive capacity is 7 million tons percent year, and the service life of the mine is 72.55 years. The normal water inflow of the mine is 240 m3 percent hour , and the gas outflow is 0.65 ml/g, and the mine is low gaseous mine. The caol seam is self-ignition in nature.The field has been divided two mining levels. The first level should be located at the lever of -540m, which use raise and dip mining method of vertical shaft development. The main shaft skip install skip and the auxiliary shaft install cage. The main entry transportation of the coal is using with the belts, and the auxiliary entry is using of track and rubber tyre car.In the earlier stage, the system that wing ventilation is located at the center is used in the mine. In the later stage, the system that wing ventilation are locted at the boundary is used in the mine. The caol mining is excating seam in 3.6m and releasing seam in 5.66m.In the Jining NO.3 mine, there are three four teams each day, and each work team works six hours. It produced 330d/a.The topic of the special part is stratification mining of thick seam and determining reasonable position. Main analyse the deep roadway in a state of high stress deformation characteristics shown, for different conditions and how to select the appropriate supporting opportunity to take a different support
